Worked mainly for select group of Blue Chip Japanese manufacturers & although a small Company, we were in fact Market Leaders within this Market sector.Clients for 16 years included: Sharp Electronics, Pitney Bowes, Neopost, Ricoh UK, Panasonic, Konica Minolta UK, Canon UK, Oce UK, Toshiba.In Sep 2000, negotiated to buy extensive office accommodation in St Anne's, I completed gutted & refurbished these Premises to an exceptionally high standard, to enable me to have the right Corporate Image to Franchise Business. We joined the British Franchise Association & had 2 other Offices, which operated in the HR & Catering.I built up a T/O of £450K + around £100K p.a for each of the Franchise Offices & drew over £100K p.a. in Salary &BenefitsI employed 8 staff directly. After 9/11 business dropped dramatically & 2 years later in 2003 I downsized the Business & moved to work from home with overheads that matched the level of income.Able to negotiate at any level from the Warehouseman to Chairman of the Board or the entire Board of Directors.Placed the CEO at Sharp Electronics Ltd & placed over 250 salesmen and Managers at both Konica Minolta and Canon UK.Placed the Sales Directors at Pitney Bowes and Pitney Bowes Finance and the European Managing Director of Lanier Ltd before it was integrated with NRG Group.Business started to decline again in late 2007 with the main PLC's I had been working with, who had started to amalgamate. I was successful in negotiating 14 new Franchise Offices for the Company, for whom I acted as Managing Director.Built up a T/O of over £1 million in the first year (All rental)Responsible for both setting up each of the new Offices, writing the Franchise Agreements, Negotiating National contracts with the likes of Agents like Royal Estates, Connell's, Halifax etc., training, Exhibitions etcUnfortunately the Chairman of the holding Company refused to pay over £120,000 of the £175K I had earned and as a result, I left in late 1992 and took the company to court. I won the case 2 years later!REASON FOR LEAVING- Chairman withheld £120k of my earnings, due to financial problems in the Group

I unfortunately turned a very substantial offer down to sell to a French Insurance Company in 1989 and subsequently in 1990 the Market collapsed!
