Works with a team to organize, test, and report on Fatigue Crack Growth Rate (ASTM E647) and JIC Fracture Toughness testing (ASTM E1820) to customers around the world. - Presents monthly updates to upper management.->Uses Excel to create a report that includes the following:-->Status of jobs in the department.-->Monthly graph of jobs logged in and out.-->Percentage on time rate for jobs with due dates.-->Documented issues with cause and corrective action.-->Ideas for process improvement.-->Progress of objectives assigned to be completed during meetings.-Reviews specifications.->Reviewed customer specification for testing parameters.->Reviewed updates to specifications for modifications to both test and analysis changes.-->Suggest testing updates to go with the specifications.-->Modify analysis programs in VB6 to meet the new specification updates.- Supervises and trains new employees on proper log in, analysis and reporting procedures.->Works with new employees to make sure they understand the different steps needed to complete work in the department. ->Reviews and evaluates employees in the department on a yearly basis.-Communicates with customers on testing.->Reviews customers statement of work to determine what testing the customer would like to do.->Requests more information in not enough is supplied in statement of work.-->Suggests modifications to statement of work to produce the best results.-->Communicates with the quoting department and project managers of what the customer is requesting for our department in the statement of work.->Emails or call customers with status updates of work in progress upon request.->Explains to customer of any issues that have occurred during testing the changes test. times or are providing invalid results.->Communicates with customers about inquires they have about testing and/or results.
