Established the International Relations Unit within Macquarie International.Managed the university's international partnerships program with universities world-wide.There were 80 agreements when I was asked to undertake this role by Professor Tony Adams in 2000 and by 2008 these had grown to 250+ institutional links.These included agreements facilitating: Research, Academic collaboration, Staff and student exchange and Cultural cooperation.Established and managed Macquarie university's partnership program with the New York based philanthropic foundation, the 'United Board'​. The United Board provided fellowships for Faculty and Leadership Development Programs for senior staff selected for 'Fast track' advancement. I arranged the Macquarie academic mentors and the Fellows were drawn from higher education institutions in 13 countries and regions of Asia. During the 5 years that I managed the program, 21 scholars were mentored at Macquarie and these now hold key academic executive positions in Asian universities.Managed Macquarie University's International Visitors Program. Managed the International Relations Business Enterprise Development Portfolio.Managed Macquarie's Japan Marketing portfolio. Achieved Number 1 in NSW for Degree-seeking students from Japan and Number 3 in the Country.Established four Fee-For-Service Study English Abroad programs with the following universities in Japan: Ritsumeikan University (Kyoto), International Christian University (ICU), (Tokyo), Momoyama Gakuin, (Osaka) and Kanda University of International Studies, (Chiba). These programs ran annually for over a decade and generated significant income for the university.Board Memberships.- Radio Station 2SER, (Joint Macquarie/UTS Radio Station),- IELTS Australia Pty, Ltd. (Macquarie's most frequent representative at IDP Board meetings),- Macquarie Middle-East Studies Centre, (Foundation Board Member and most frequent representative from Macquarie International).

This has become a major revenue stream for the university.Commissioning Editor of Macquarie University's "Outreach Magazine" which was a lead publication of the National Centre for English Language Teaching & Research (NCELTR) for distribution nationally within the Adult Migrant Education Services (AMES) in Australia as well as internationally.

Chief Technical Consultant for Coopers & Lybrand Services for the Australian Language Centre (ALC) Project, later the Indonesia-Australia Language Foundation (IALF) which was a Development Assistance Project located in Jakarta, Indonesia, for the preparation of Australian Government sponsored Post Graduate scholarship recipients who were preparing for Higher Degree studies in Australian Universities.

In June 1983 I was appointed the foundation Assistant Director of the Australian Language Centre (ALC) which later became the Indonesia-Australia Language Foundation (IALF). The objective of the Centre, which is still in operation today was to provide English training to Indonesian Government officials and postgraduate scholarship recipients for study in Australian universities. This was a Development Assistance project under the Australian Overseas Aid budget and was jointly managed by the University of Melbourne and Coopers & Lybrand Services for whom I later worked at their Head Office in Sydney.
