I believe that every project is an opportunity to be creative and has within it the potential to produce interesting and imaginative design. I do not believe that a project should be confined by its constraints but that these provide inherent design opportunities. I feel that good design does not need to be expensive but that sometimes the simplest things can be the most beautiful.I have learned that having a client centred focus is important and I always aim to keep my clients needs at the centre of my work. I consider that Architects need an awareness of the world outside the profession and must consider their environmental impact. I do however believe that for true environmental design we must begin at a Masterplanning level and incorporate how the built environment is used as well as how it is made.Alongside these intents I understand that an Architect is a professional and the role has a practical outcome. So most importantly I believe in getting the job done.
