Since 2005 I have delivered courses on behalf of Mind, the national mental health charity. Visiting LecturerRoyal Holloway, University Of London Jan 2014 - PresentI teach early modern history at Royal Holloway, University of London, specifically the BA course 'Killing the King: England in an Age of Revolutions, 1603-1714'. This introduces students to the political, intellectual and cultural history of the Stuart age, via primary and secondary sources. Themes include divine right monarchy and the royal touch; the origins of the Civil War; regicide and republicanism; the Restoration, the new science and the coffee houses; and the Glorious Revolution and its consequences. I deliver lectures, facilitate seminars, set and mark course work and exams, supervise tutorials, and help with pastoral care. -
