I am passionate about business and have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and wanted to run my own Company to the best of my ability. I enjoy new challenges and working on projects rather than working methodically on a day to day basis which is why I always try to improve and grow which I believe is the reason for the continued growth and success of Express Bi Folding Doors.The completion of my degree coincided with my father coming out of early retirement so in 2007 we set Express Bi Folding Doors up together with one employee, two potential trade clients and the hope of supplying to trade with the aim of manufacturing seven bi folding doors a week. We are now very much a young, fast paced retail Company with a diverse product portfolio and a growing turnover which now exceeds £20 million. The turnover for the Company is increasing by approximately 12-20% year on year and we have exciting plans in place to ensure that this continues for the foreseeable future. Express in the Home is a new Company, the foundations for which were really laid in 2016. Myself and the other directors of Express in the Home plan to build up the new kitchen and interiors to Company into a multi-million-pound Company that is both well-known and well regarded in Yorkshire, which could potentially lead to us rolling out Express in the Home Nationally alongside our established brand Express Bi Folding Doors. Express Bi Folding Doors employs more than 200 people nationwide, but we have managed to keep the core values and principles, loyalty and camaraderie that comes with a small family business. Keeping these people happy and in employment is another key motivator for myself as we have some fantastic staff who are just as passionate about the Company and as hard working and committed as me.
