Customers span a myriad of industries including heavy and light duty mobility, maritime shipping, materials handling, power generation, stationary back-up power, and international commodity markets.• Responsible for development of project financial model. • Responsible for integration of engineering and procurement decisions into overall project financial outlook.• Aided in development of offtake contract structuring and commercial risk management.• Responsible for calculation of carbon intensity for the hydrogen generated in the project.• Responsible for sourcing renewable natural gas (RNG) attributes, renewable electricity certificates (RECs), the qualification and monetization of these attributes under the applicable private and public frameworks.• Lead engagement efforts with the Depart of Energy’s Loan Program Office to unlock green financing for the project.• Policy expertise: involved understanding of federal and state decarbonization frameworks, programs, and subsidies. These include the Inflation Reduction Act, Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS), Canadian Clean Fuel Standards (CFS), Voluntary Carbon Markets, and Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill. • Member of the HALO Hydrogen Hub Consortium which developed and submitted a comprehensive strategy for the development of a hydrogen hub in the tri-state AMI of Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. • Focused on the development of low-carbon hydrogen, ammonia, renewable natural gas, and carbon capture facilities throughout North America. -

Jul 2021 - Jun 2023As Vice President of Engineering & Operations for Lone Cypress, my duties and responsibilities included the following:• Expanded Lone Cypress’ scope of focus from traditional oil and gas infrastructure to include low-carbon projects such as hydrogen production, carbon capture and storage, renewable natural gas, and waste to value.• Project manager for the development of a 30 ton per day blue hydrogen facility to support the decarbonization of airport in Alberta, CA. The facility utilized steam methane reformation, an amine-based carbon capture process, and hydrogen liquefaction technologies.• Oversaw the development of the front-end engineering design, vetted and selected technology and service providers, and coordinated permitting efforts for the airport-adjunct hydrogen facility.• Project management lead in partnership with BioHiTech Global, a technology services company focused on the development of waste to energy production facilities throughout Europe and North America.• As project manager, I oversaw operation of a 110,000 ton/year waste to energy facility located in Entsorga, WV. The facility utilized a mechanical biological treatment process to convert municipal solid waste (MSW) and commercial and industrial waste streams into an EPA-recognized Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).• Performed engineering feasibility study for conversion of SRF to gaseous hydrogen and renewable natural gas at Entosrga facility. Feasibility study included evaluation of torrefaction and gasification technologies.• Visited multiple waste to energy facilities throughout North America to gain understanding of operational best practices and technologies for the conversion of waste materials. • Project managed the development of natural gas treating and gathering system in the Eagle ford Shale near La Grange, TX. Project included mainline pipeline header, multiple wellhead connections, compressor stations, amine processing facility, and custody transfer stations. -
