Following the completion of the Graduate scheme, moved to a permanent Casualty Underwriting Position:• Underwriting Domestic, International and Multi National General Liability and Domestic Employers Liability risks for organisations with a global turnover over £200m• Underwriting Construction General Liability annual and project policies• Autonomous Underwriting authority up to a premium value of £250,000 as well as shadowing Senior Underwriters providing a mix of individual responsibility and continuous learning.• Broad risk appetite including construction, retail, light and heavy manufacturing, food and beverages, leisure • Developing new and maintaining existing relationships within the London Market and Regional Brokers as well as internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers, Claims, Actuarial and Risk Engineering to maximise results for Customers and Zurich. • Responsibility for developing an Underwriting presence in Zurich’s regional office including training new Underwriters and creating the Underwriting and Referral process as well as acting as key liaison between the administration team and the Underwriting team. A thorough understanding of the Zurich network and particularly Global Corporate in Europe, Middle East and Africa (GCiEMEA) through the administration of global programmes and participation in process improvement projects• Managing the Global Corporate Employers Liability Tracing Office (ELTO) portal to ensure compliance in line with FCA guidelines
