I am a researcher in health behaviour who has worked in government, academic and charity settings. I lead project teams that are backed by prestigious government and private funding to deliver research outcomes in cancer (psycho-oncology), addictions, health communication and safety. In collaboration with other researchers, I have been involved with projects valued over AUD 8,000,000 and have published over 100 papers in international journals. Approach to research is pragmatic, involving the employment of research strategies tailored to information needs of key stakeholder groups. Thus, I conduct multi-method research, utilising qualitative, quantitative survey and experimental methods to suit differing research problems and contexts, and am skilled in a wide range of analytic techniques. I observe ethical standards appropriate to the conduct of research involving human participants and my registration as a psychologist.
