Supervise all activities of the DFA MEA field staff within an assigned geographical region. Devote time to riding with field representatives providing them with direct, personal, contact, on-the-job training, encouragement and support. Ensure that producers receive the highest level of professional field service available in the marketplace and that field representatives’ activities reflect and support DFA and MEA goals, strategies and values.

- Manage milk quality within assigned geographic territory. Monitor producers' milk quality and provide prompt technical advice and service. - Promptly respond to all producer requests and calls including those received outside normal working hours.- Make routine member farm visits to communicate quality expectations and update members on status of milk markets and DFA.- Work with local haulers and state regulatory to resolve any situations that arise on the farms or at the plants.- Provide managers and administrative staff with complete, accurate, timely information required to effectively administer DFA programs and policies.- Participate in local fairs, extension meetings, dairy promotion activities, and related events to present a positive image of DFA in the community.

- Maintain company fleet of trucks, tractors, mowers and power equipment.- Maintain facility structures and coordinate repairs as needed.- Oversee workflow of three shop mechanics.- Point of contact for field supervisors, technicians, and mobile mechanics.- Coordinate use of equipment between farms, properties, and mowing crews.- Issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and accounting system. - Maintain accounts and relationships with vendors.- Prepare and execute training of new equipment with operators as needed.- Prepare budget and expense of all equipment maintained at facility.
