I was appointed to develop, maintain and upgrade all core modules for Property Management System (PMS) at a bank employing more than 5,000 people serving government, retail and corporate clients. I worked with a team of colleagues to design algorithms and flowcharts, provide training, and integrate software components as well as third-party programs. For projects I initially established business requirements, collaborating with management, business analysts and clients across the organisation.Developing and maintaining a large client/server platform for PMS data, the primary application used at 9 sites, I streamlined the property management process which minimised occupancy costs.I mitigated risks identified by an audit; reverse/forward engineered Equinox into an SQL model, enhanced in DeZign and transitioned to Oracle. I migrated 2,100 buildings and 46,000 units to Yardi Voyager cloud platform, moving all apps over 3 phases, and worked closely with analysts and Yardi technicians on a complex project completed on time and within budget. I jointly automated the extraction, data cleansing and transformation of PMS data for uploading.Accomplished with scripting a routine to convert from hierarchical to relational database model in Oracle from 2019-2020, I had to migrate and reconcile a large volume of historical data. I extensively utilised SQL scripts with Oracle for ad hoc queries, adding columns and indexes, and re-shaping historical data. I showed perseverance to find the best solution with least overheads to system/process.I set up an online search portal for residential and commercial units with a geospatial search engine to Integrate with Google Maps API. Implementing key VAT, Income Distribution, FM, Call Center and Vendor Management modules, and building HTTP functionality within Equinox using Windows APIs to populate a MongoDB database.

In this role I was based in Leeds, UK with regular travel to the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) offices located in Abu Dhabi. I performed a senior developer role, increasing functionality for ADCB by adding modules to handle funds distribution including building leasing and legal aspects.I designed and developed software using the Compsoft Equinox client/server database for UK and International clients. This included delivering additional functionality to PMS systems for MOTO UK Ltd and the Environment Agency (sponsored by UK government).I built Property Management applications and continually developed online modules to replace End Of Life (EOL) processes.

I built a new web platform in Equinox and electronic mortgage application forms on the Equinox platform.Implementing a centralised JavaScript library, this enforced business and handled logic in the web interface.

In this role I specialised in web interfaces and client/server databases using Equinox and other tools, creating the new HR database for the Scottish Executive. Other clients included Concord Integrated Services, Avoncroft Sires, Welsh Development Agency, Development Board for Rural Wales, and Education and Learning Wales.I also presented corporate training on Microsoft Office applications for Powys College and continued to deliver training to Laura Ashley.
