I have been working in the Software industry for some 20 years for both small start-ups and large enterprises. Latterly in sales roles but Initially I began my career as a Technical Consultant back in the days where you would turn up on site with a case full of CDs with executables, patches, os and databases. I remember once being told that it was company policy for each employee to check their email every day :-)Recently I was presented with a great opportunity to manage and run a family-owned wholesale business with my son, Andrew. Our company, Nutri Trade UK ltd (www.nutritradeuk.com) is a wholesale business specialising in UK produced Health and Beauty products mainly but not exclusively Nutraceuticals.As a director of the company my responsibilities are operational and business development. We are committed to our customers - they are at the centre of every decision we make so we ensure that sales, operations and systems are aligned to our customer needs.Environmental sustainability is one of our company’s core values- and we are part of a carbon offset program – together we can help the planet and still ensure that commerce thrives.When I am not working, I enjoy walking my dog Pippa, playing golf, keeping fit at the Gym and watching Scandinavian crime dramas.
