Worked for SK Foods 23.07.2018 to 31.05.2020. As a Material Scheduler, made redundant due to Corona Virus.My Role was as a Material Scheduler within the Purchase and Planning Dept ensuring a stable material supply chain, enabling production to carry out their role with minimum disruption. Key Responsibilities : To update the MRP weekly and to place orders on our Suppliers of which I had a supply base of 60 companies.Procurement and Scheduling of all materials to my supply base.To check shortages and to make any adjustments to the MRP to make subsequent order changes where necessary.Liaising with Suppliers on Purchase orders, delivery queries and shortage problems.All my scheduling at SK Foods was done by NAV supported by Excel. I worked at Faltec Europe Ltd for 27 years before redundancy 15.12.2017, mainly in the Production Control Dept as a Material Controller however I did spend time working in the Purchasing Dep't, which entailed the procurement of both Production and non-production consumable items.Key Responsibilities :Maintaining a stable materials supply chain to enable production to carry out their role with minimum disruption.Supply base of 27 companies, from the UK, Europe and Asia, with a portfolio of 442 products.Responsible for :Production and Service associated parts, Flocking material Glues Paints PVC & SteelOld level Service parts / Paints and associated paint materials. Procurement and Scheduling of all parts / materials to my supply baseProduction schedules to my Sub Contract supply base.The raising of Purchase orders to my supply base.The Monitoring of inventory levels to prevent high levels of stock and associated costs and to ensure stock levels are maintained.Liaising with all departments within the company and ensuring a close working relationship to enable quick resolutions to problems that may ariseManagement of new model dealer fill preparation, and current model run-out / carry over for Associated Parts, Paints and associated materials, to minimise stock levels at both run out / run in phases.To demonstrate continuous improvement in adherence to procedures and work quality measured by yearly appraisal.The Daily Monitoring of shortages and Low Level StocksWeekly Stocktake of Hazard Stores (Responsible for 3 Hazard Stores)Monthly Company Stocktakes, tasks included pre-stocktake preparation, Auditing lines, control of Stocktake tickets in and out, input of stock tickets onto system.Transport logistics as and when required.I was one of the founder members of the company Health and Safety Committee
