Rope Access Level 2 (Painter Blaster)
I was a member of a rope access team carrying out remedial paint repairs on offshore substations. I was responsible for assisting supervision to help identify areas to be prepped and then working closely with level 3 to discuss methods of access and rigging of ropes. Parts of the painting work scope also included the measuring and marking out of deck markings for walk ways etc.I was also responsible for taking out daily permits for the site and I actively participated in daily tool box talks and rescue plans and also was involved in weekly rope access rescue drills which were conducted by the IRATA level 3 team leader.
