I have been deployed in the port's construction as design eng since year 1978, I have worked with design other Engineers from the United Nations Department for Ports development where i have gathered vast experience in port design, site works mainly deployed in marine works. I have spent my years working upon the port's design including quay structures and upon the main breakwater for the Marsaxlokk por. I have also managed and carried out underwater blasting, for quay construction , formation of container yards, installation of quay side crane beam and rails, and the installation of high voltage systems and cable works for the ports substations, erecting lighting towers, other port installations and services has also carried out other services including potable water systems, fire hydrant system and storm water sewerage system. Upon the completion of the second phase of the port i was a member for tye port's monitoring board carrying out quantity surveying, site inspections, preparing daily progress reports and attending board meetings participating within the project programmed of works etc.. Upon the completion of the terminal 1 i was engaged with the Transshipment Company and was entrusted with new development projects , maintaining the general services for the port including High /low voltage installations and maintenance works, mechanical and electrical services . During the last 7years i wad deployed upon new projects and am organizing / preparing designs, tender documentation and monitoring works for the port’s new development .
