I began my healthcare marketing career in 2018 with one goal in mind: change the approach of healthcare marketing to better benefit the patient. I am the parent of a child with severe special needs and my wife is her full time caregiver. This experience has opened my eyes into how difficult healthcare can be for those who regularly need it, and has given me inspiration for ways to improve the medical care process within my marketing career. Patient communications, educational health content, purposeful designs, and so much more play a role into the patient experience and I am passionate about improving this journey for our patients of all ages and abilities.As the VP of marketing for Rancho Health, I use data and analytics to develop campaigns and work to improve our organization’s overall ROI. This is a critical piece to what I do however it is far from my only responsibility. My passion is people over marketing, and I am very fortunate to have an incredible team that I work with daily. Developing talent and building leaders on the marketing team is what gets me excited every day.The combination of having a real impact on people’s health outcomes as well as working to develop an incredible team is why I absolutely love what I do. I spend most of my day reviewing and analyzing data, campaign spends, and ensuring brand standards. However, nothing gets me more excited than hearing testimonials or reviews about how our educational blog content, magazine articles, or physician-led cooking class has helped a patient become a better version of themself. Healthcare marketing is so much more than patient growth and I will continue to peruse that journey as long as I am able.
