In my role as Reinstatement Manager, I was primarily responsible for the management of the teams to ensure that the work load was being achieved. I would plan the work load for each team on a daily basis, prioritising the defects as required. I acted as the interface between the Senior Management and my teams, to ensure key messages were being communicated. Due to company restructure, several of the Site Manager positions were made redundant in May 2011. However, I was offered to stay with the company due to having key skills they required in other positions. In the absence of any Site Manager, I would step up to cover their work load. As Site Manager I played a pivotal role by ensuring that all required job requests were undertaken within agreed timeframes by the required teams of employees. I was the interface between the Senior Management and the colleagues who worked on site. The size of the work force I was directly responsible for varied between 2 - 12 gangs.

Electric/BT Full Time; This was a sub-contracting role, whereby I had to manage the sub-contractor. This required me to be vigilant by having to provide assurance to Senior Management that the work was being undertaken to desired levels. During this time I was fortunate to gain the skills and experience I have today from being a part of several utility companies all across Britain working between re-instatement and being a Hi-Ab Driver.
