I became immersed in the world of computer science after discovering the vastness of knowledge that was there for me to venture into. I have been an IT professional for over five years, and I love my job. I have worked relentlessly at developing my professional expertise, with English as a second language. I have put my skills to work in an array of situations: as an interpreter and traveling salesman for an international textile company, as a customer service specialist for one of the biggest green-energy companies in North America, and even as a front-desk rep and manager at a gorgeous boutique hotel. But then I took the opportunity to work as a first-level IT specialist, and I found my true passion. The road has been long, and over the course of these years, I became more and more familiar with customer service, and now I am a well-seasoned first-level technician, and ITIL advocate. My goal is always to ensure that my client's necessities are fully covered. When it comes to incident-handling, I always do my best to make sure that our customers are well-supported and our SLAs are met. I feel extremely proud to be part of a team that encourages continuous learning and overcoming personal and technical boundaries, where family is always first, and tolerance is foremost. Ethnic, cultural, and sexual diversity are what makes the team so special. We are all able to pitch in and build each other up, sharing our knowledge and welcoming our different backgrounds.Lately, I have developed a profound interest for the side of IT that focuses on the interaction with our client, especially when we're talking infrastructure. I am in the process of obtaining my Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification. My goal was hindered by a couple of big challenges to my health, which I have overcome with patience and hard work, and I am becoming a better version of my self, one step at a time.
