Managing the UK's Public Affairs Strategy for Pernod Ricard's 3 UK-based affiliates: Chivas Brothers (Scotch Whisky Production & exports), Global Travel Retail (international Duty Free), and Pernod Ricard UK (domestic sales). Advising & representing the business on range of policy issues including public health, trade, taxation, and environmental policy. Managing relationships with approximately 20 trade associations internationally, including the Scotch Whisky Association, Wine & Spirits Trade Association, UK Spirits Alliance, Portman Group, UK Travel Retail Forum, European Travel Retail Confederation, and Incorporated Society of British Advertisers. Negotiating corporate partnerships with organisations including Stonewall, the Institute of Economic Affairs, Spectator Magazine, Taxpayers’ Alliance & New Statesman.Managing relationships with range of political consultancies & key Government Departments. Ensuring advertising compliance, working with UK regulators including the Advertising Standards Authority, Committee of Advertising Practice, Portman Group & Clearcast.Diversity & Inclusion Champion, arranging events around Disability Awareness, mental health, and LGBTequality.
