For the last 30 years I have had the privilege of working for and leading non-profit organisations at CEO level at both an international, national and grass-roots level, primarily within the areas of: * INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT - including fundraising and developing partnerships * EMPLOYABILITY & TRAINING - including alternative education and skills training * YOUTH DEVELOPMENT - including ICT and Safeguarding This work has involved me using my leadership, communication, entrepreneurial and people-management skills to co-design initiatives directly with users to make a positive difference. I am first and foremost motivated to help transform the lives of the most disadvantaged and finding innovative ways to build sustainable, innovative and shared programmes of change. I am a strong strategic planner and have been able to successfully build partnerships with a very wide range of stakeholders including governments, industry, and international organisations. My work has involved implementing successful income generation strategies and leading teams in the production of award-winning education resources.Over the last few years my work has involved me working in Nepal, India and Bhutan where I have been responsible for building schools (after the earthquake in Nepal) developing education programmes - including with ICT, and supporting youth in Enterprise skills as well as supporting work under the SDG framework. This work has also involved me working with excluded young people to co-design employability training resources which help young people understand the skills needed for the 4th Industrial Revolution Specialties: International development Social Change E-Learning and Digital Citizenship training (both YP and teachers) Producing media resources including writing, overseeing production of websites, films, resources etc.Advising other charities in developing their work and growth.Follow the links below for recent articles I have written.

Funders have included: Microsoft, BT, C&W, Vodafone, Symantec, DCSF, Home Office, EU, Disney, and British Council. Appeared before and gave evidence to Government DCMS Select Committee and advised key leaders on issues of E-Learning and in particular children's safe use of the Internet. Including making presentations to MPs, industry leaders, opinion formers, funders and the media.
