As Senior Front-end Developer at Able Lending, my responsibility is to work with the design team to plan, design, and execute on both marketing and product projects. This included a complete overhaul of the public-facing marketing website complete with a repository of reusable code modules in a design system. I also worked to update customer facing products such as user-flows, dashboards, and HTML email. The development system I created was built in a way so that new pages and interfaces could be developed in a fraction of the time with a declarative style of HTML. I also provided art direction and design for Able when the previous Design Director moved on from the company, filling the roll so that Able could continue to develop its product without skipping a beat.

In 2009, Airbag Industries combined forces with Happy Cog, a studio based in Philadelphia and New York. Happy Cog and Airbag shared a similar philosophy and culture. During my time I worked with many clients of national renown including major brands, universities, and non-profits. Clients I worked with include AMC Theatres, Arizona State University, W. L. Gore & Associates, Yale Business School, Harvard Extension School, Papa John's, Cirrus Logic, among many others. I mainly focused on front-end development, creating full scale design systems intended for a long shelf life and focused on allowing clients to further build and adapt as their needs change. I was involved closely either directly or in consultation in project discovery, user experience design, graphic design and of course front-end development. Many projects offered support when implementation of deliverables was outsourced, which I provided regularly. I participated in many on site workshops and kick-offs with clients all over the nation. I also wrote regularly for the respected company blog, Cognition.

I worked in many facets of web projects with clients big and small, including Wireframing and User Experience design, web design, and front-end development. Clients I worked with included Marler Clark, the W3C, Mozilla, and Change.org, among others. Developing personal relationships with many of our clients and providing best-in-class services was a top priority, and I was able to develop skills in communicating and working with our clients to understand their needs and execute on project requirements. As an early adopter and practitioner of Responsive Web Design, I honed my skills in developing mobile friendly websites.
