Group Manager – Business Solutions & Process Improvements (Global Head Of It & Security)
CurrentReporting to the CFO and head of all things IT across our Australia, India, Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates businesses, our Business Solutions teams focus has been on building robust platforms, applications, and services in the cloud. We have collaborated closely with the key stakeholders internally to develop business intelligence and analytics. Ensuring that security is a key focus, we introduced controls, maintaining, and improving on our cyber-security governance processes and ensuring our systems are secure across the businesses 820 staff. Utilising serverless modern cloud features for legacy network functions and modernising applications to cloud native infrastructure, has enabled WT to support a 100% growth in staff numbers over a 6 year period from 2018 to now.My responsibilities include:Leading the team in identifying business needs and requirements and developing and implementing effective solutions to meet those needs.Managing the team's resources, including personnel, funding, and time, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Ensuring that the team's solutions are aligned with the organisation's strategic goals and objectives, and meet the needs of different stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users.Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure that the team's solutions are integrated with other systems and processes and meet their needs and requirements.Ensuring that the team's solutions are secure, compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and minimise the risk of data breaches, cyber-attacks, or system failures.Leading the team's efforts to continuously improve its processes, systems, and solutions, and seek feedback from stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.Communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure that the team's solutions are understood and valued, and that expectations are managed.
