Whilst I consider my next permanent role, I am currently working (pro-bono) with local Peterborough/Cambridgeshire charities looking at Governance, CEO Coaching, Business Planning.

As the first external post holder recruited to the role of CEO at Glebe House, I was tasked with setting out plans for developing the services, workforce, site and strategic relationships, to ready the organisation for the future. I worked with the Board to improve Governance, and initiated reviews of roles, functions, structures and practice. Further work was undertaken following these initial reviews, and the Board took the decision in June 2024 to close the charity. Fully accepting and respecting the Board's decision, I was asked to stay on for 3 months to support the Trustees with closure plans.

Transformed WCF from an organisation under the threat of closure to a key provider within the local Primary Care landscape. Raised profile significantly with commissioners, PCNs, the wider healthcare system and other stakeholders. Increased services/projects from 1 to over 20. Delivered over 60,000 additional Primary Care appointments. Booked over 20,000 COVID vaccine appointments. Grew turnover from £990k to £2.2m. Implemented new Board and Governance structure. Grew workforce from 80 to over 150. As a CIC, invested over £500k in Primary Care Services.

Leading the organisation through the delivery of the NHS Long Term Plan.Supporting 22 Member Practices to deliver Primary Care services to 200,000 people.Responsibility for strategic planning and operational delivery, reporting directly to the Board.
