Interpret client data via data transformations and integrate it to their analytics and present this data to project/program managers. - Responsible for the operation of specialized analytical equipment such as X-ray diffractometer, porosity and permeability machines (i.e. CMS-300 and helium porosimeter), petrographic microscope and cathodoluminescent microscope. Also required to document and interpret the data produced into a meaningful dataset for the clients.- Responsible for operation of standard lab equipment such as soxhlet extractors, vacuum pumps, fume hoods, mixing plates, etc. as well as specialized geologic lab equipment such as rock saws, coring machines, thin section laps, etc.- Required to handle hazardous materials and perform chemical procedures requiring knowledge of laboratory protocol (WHMIS) and safety procedures (knowledge of MSDS of relevant compounds). - Repaired and maintained multiple pieces of mechanical equipment.Key Accomplishments- Mentored and trained multiple staff in running and maintaining technical equipment.
