As the Head of Recruitment my role is to provide bespoke strategic Technical Manpower solutions across several International Projects. Playing a pivotal role in delivering, managing, and coordinating key Recruitment solutions for several global Clients.

Part of the Senior Management Team, responsible for the Permanent Recruitment P&L and driving overall business strategy. Managing a Team of 10 Consultant’s.Responsibilities:Create the overall business strategy for Permanent Recruitment.Strategically create and implement an internal structure to grow the Permanent Recruitment Business, increasing client engagement/fulfilment, improving internal SLAs, whilst creating internal progression for Consultants.Drive individual and Team KPIs to ensure financial targets are met and exceeded.Implement a robust L&D program ensuring Trainee’s and experienced Consultants are consistently developing their knowledge and understanding of the Recruitment Life Cycle, our key Customers and Sectors. Consistently assessing individual areas of improvement and setting clear development objectives to support this.Key Account management and new business development establishing key relationships with the Hiring Managers and HR function. (C-suite mapping, Client service reviews).Hands-on technical delivery on Senior Requirements (salaries range from £45,000 to £150,000) using a variety of channels.Collaboration with the wider business to ensure all Permanent requirements are allocated and worked efficiently.Conduct 1 to 1 fortnightly Performance Management Reviews.Remaining compliant with changes to laws, legislation and industry standards.Provide monthly data reports to the Directors analysing individual/team/client performance to the agreed KPIs. Identifying areas of growth and opportunity.Internal Recruitment - Trainee’s, 180 and 360 Consultants.

A Senior Recruitment Specialist within the HSSE, Environmental, Technical Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering Division covering a variety of different industries for both permanent and contract recruitment.Responsibilities:Account management of major engineering clients within the UK.Sourcing, selection and management of relevant candidates (HSE Advisors/Managers, Technical Safety Engineers, Loss Prevention, Fire Protection, Fire and Gas Detection, HAZOP/HAZID and SIL specialists).Supporting in the development for new Recruitment Consultants.Deputising for the Team Manager.Attending Client Visit and HSE/Safety related events.

Following on from a successful 6 months as a Resourcer since joining the company, I waspromoted to a Recruitment Consultant working in the HSE Division, which soon became thefastest growing team within the Group.Responsibilities:Sourcing and selection of relevant candidates (HSE Advisors HSE Managers, Site Safety Advisors, Environmental Advisors/Managers).Providing market knowledge and advice to employers.Good understanding of clients’ needs and candidate skills.Working with major oil and gas operators and EPC companies.Business development (new and existing) for our division with the group.Managing the job offer process and negotiating salary packages.Working as part of a team to maximise First Recruitment Group’s commercial performance.Developing and managing ongoing client relationships - both on the phone and face to face.Helping to organising and attending regular client entertainment events.
