Throughout my education and work I kept closely to a plan involving golf. From the young age of 13 I worked on a golf course cutting grass just to be around the game and 6 years later at 19 years of age I was manager of an 18 holes golf course helping manage all aspects of the business working alongside the owners.My educational background includes ‘Advanced GNVQ Golf Leisure & Tourism Management’ where I achieved a Distinction level and was awarded the ‘National Westminster Bank Prize’ for most outstanding student. This then led me to University to study BSc Hons in Golf and Leisure Business Management advancing skills in business management within the golf industry. At 22 years young I become part of a management team in a bar/restaurant industry where I played a proactive part in the businesses success. Leading to being approached by the Directors to work in other parts of the company helping to revitalise struggling venues in different cities. I then took the decision to live in the country’s capital, with the opportunity to manage one of the most successful indoor golf venues in the country. At 27 years of age I was managing and overseeing three indoor golf venues in London including a seven simulator flagship venue in High Street Kensington, London, used by world number 1 golfers Justin Rose, Rory Mcllroy (2012) and Luke Donald (2010).I believe I have only ever succeeded and surpassed my employer’s expectations and advanced in every role throughout my career. From all the positions and opportunities within my career I have created a mindset ready to achieve more than any Indoor golf business has.
