• To implement loss prevention best practice and ensure compliance in store• To support store management and work as part of a team with colleagues on the sales floor, to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff and customers by reducing the opportunities for crime, disorder and accidents• Endure delivery of excellent customer service, providing a safe shopping environment and adherence to service standards• Report internal loss, misconduct and dishonesty and report security incidents to store manager and/or divisional loss prevention team as appropriate• Liase with police in all security matters• Ensure a continuous and effective shop floor deterrent capable of identifying and reducing external theft• Minimise the loss of company property through application of best practice, highlighting weaknesses in store controls and taking appropriate action including the response to formal audits and stockcounts• Ensure compliance with Data Protection Legislation• Comply with and implement health & safety legislation, advise and train management and colleagues as appropriate and maintain required documentation• Ensure accurate records are maintained in line with loss prevention compliance
