Sellers Dorsey is a national healthcare consulting firm with expertise in Medicaid and a mission to advance health quality, access, and equity through Medicaid financing and operations excellence. The firm serves states, provider organizations, and other entities who can benefit from the guidance and expertise Sellers Dorsey can offer in the ever changing world of Medicaid. I use my knowledge of Sellers Dorsey along with my management experience to help the Sales function operate effectively, and I provide guidance on corporate change/growth initiatives.

I have had the privilege of overseeing the development of the marketing function during dramatic company growth by expanding the marketing and proposal management team, establishing a content marketing strategy, increasing internal marketing support, and orchestrating participation with an ever-growing list of external organizations and national conferences.

Established marketing department and led team through rapid expansion of department duties and organizational growth for Seniorlink and its main subsidiary operation Caregiver Homes, provider of a new home-based family caregiving service. Joined as the first hire and added and retained three team members, implementing new branding and programs. Managed annual budgets and dashboard measurements, adding many new initiatives during major leadership changes in the company. Created and managed new programs to support ongoing expansion from four to seven states in 2014 and growth within each market.Engaged referral partners and prospective users by focusing on consumer success stories and staff expertise. Introduced all new branding and market-specific, multi-language print and digital collateral (e.g. web, blog, email, event, social media, etc.). Improved credibility among families and professional referral sources while greatly increasing external audience size.

Expanded role of marketing for a successful residential moving company in the midst of stagnated national growth. Promoted twice and assumed marketing leadership responsibilities for this business operating in ten states. Worked with leadership to clarify goals and improve the annual budget process. Created transparency and departmental credibility by increasing internal communication and reporting. Major accomplishments include launching the company’s first in-house public relations program, consolidation of customer loyalty functions, re-launch of website, and reorganizing the department using a matrix structure to support regional marketing activity.

Created new internal communications position to support change management for Keane’s global restructuring initiative called the “One Keane” transformation. Proposed strategies and moved into this role to help increase positive awareness of the transformation for this $1 billion international IT firm.

Managed multi-million dollar budget process and facilitated creation of two annual marketing plans while delivering high level executive support for executive team members, primarily the VP of Marketing. Collaborated with marketing leaders and provided writing and editing support on various deliverables.

As part of a graduate school capstone project, developed a highly structured organizational development and communications plan based on primary research and interviews for this new grassroots non-profit that organizes an annual fundraising bike ride.

Built and managed Client Services and Research Operations Departments for FDfn, a subsidiary start-up enterprise of MediaMap, serving the needs of financial analysts and corporate IR professionals. Promoted twice for surpassing goals while continually improving operations, resolving complex problems and managing dramatic company growth. Built and oversaw Research department. Hired, trained and supervised 12+ staff to service 1,000+ users. Tripled operational capacity with reduced staffing costs while retaining online database subscribers.

Helped launch Customer Satisfaction Program as first and only new hire by program director. Created content for an original web-based product tutorial, facilitated nationwide educational events for MediaMap’s PR clients, and created a customer survey to help develop new approaches for sales and service.

Elevated the public image of small and medium size companies across several industries by conducting outreach to media outlets for high-tech clients. Created and delivered press releases and story ideas to various media contacts.
