About Stephen Coffrin
Born and raised in rural Vermont, my initial interest in Engineering was sparked by the the first person I considered to be a mentor, the late Dr. Al Zielenski at the Riverbend Career & Technical Center. It was here where my initial interest in Engineering was fostered. Northeastern University allowed me to take advantage of the well established Co-Op program, and I spent my Co-Ops at Turner Construction, National Technical Systems, and Gillette learning how to apply my newly developed skills to the workforce. Being in the solar industry since 2008 has allowed me to experience the growth of the then fledgling industry into the nationwide "solar-coaster" of today. I've become well versed in the design, engineering, construction, commissioning, O&M and troubleshooting for residential, small & large commercial, and Utility scale PV generation facilities.
