About Stephen C.

Hi! I'm Stephen Cohn, an award-winning broadcast journalist and dayside executive producer at WISN 12 (ABC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I also am a part-time graduate student at Marquette University in Milwaukee, studying Communications & Media Studies. Previously, I spent two years as the producer of the hour-long WISN 12 News at 4:00, and three years as a News/Digital Producer and Internship Coordinator at WISC-TV News 3 Now in Madison. I'm from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and studied broadcast journalism as an undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have always had a passion to tell stories and connect people to certain events. When I was little, I would build cities out of Lego and tell stories for hours on end about them; since then, my passion for storytelling has only grown. During my time at UI, I announced, interviewed, produced, wrote, covered, managed, and joked. Check out my experiences for more on those! It was also very important to me that I continued my love of music at the college level, and I played trumpet in the Marching Illini for four years!Contact Information:stephencohntv@gmail.comiPhone: 847-420-0122X: @stephen__cohnWebsite: https://stephencohntv.wixsite.com/scohnjournalism
