Four years active duty in the United States Marine Corps, including two tours to South Helmand Province, Afghanistan. While in the Marine Corps, I was tasked as being the NCO in charge of heavy section vehicles which included MRAP's, MATV's, LVSR's, and MTVR Wreckers. A total of twenty separate vehicles were under my charge. Other responsibilities included leading and supervising over thirty marines, mission planning, supervising the loading and unloading of materials, ordering necessary equipment, and training junior marines in the units standards of operations. Upon my EAS, I began working as a well drilling hand at Associated Well Services, where I have gained electrical experience as well as metal work. I also obtained my CDL licence, as well as a tanker stamp. While working full time I received my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State Univeristy and am currently one semester away from obtaining a masters degree in criminal justice administration. The skill I have learned while enrolled as both an undergraduate and graduate include a proficiency in microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint.
