Multi-Link Engineering Facility Trial Coordinator
CurrentResponsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities, including LINK operations across the entire CAF spectrum, Tests & Trials with Fleet Units, following up with post analysis and recommendations, and maintenance of crypto and its related equipment for Tactical Data Link operations. Remain aware of security implications and enforce proper protocols in this area. Advancements within the Tactical Data Link community with respect to LINK 22 capability, Full Motion Video (FMV), and evolutionary changes as required, liaising with CAF LINK counterparts and promoting change to enable sustainment of inter-departmental relationships between the Navy, Army and Air Force.- Conduct LINK operations and provide expert technical recommendations.- Liaise with Project leaders (PLs), planner/estimators, WCSs, Ship’s Trial Coordinators regarding the scheduling, coordination and conduct of trials.- Utilize DRMIS to meet the requirements of the Service Delivery Process.- Verify and negotiate job plans, schedules, customer requirements and work costs.- Control work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.- Direct contracted resources as required.- Perform general administration such as monitoring time recording, chairing meetings, writing reports and utilizing IT systems such as Monitor Mass and DRMIS.- Assist in the development of Engineering Changes, Job Instructions, completing technical investigations, conducting Condition Based Assessments of Fleet and Shore establishment equipment, and initiating and conducting special projects.- Ensure compliance with safety, security, administrative and environmental regulations.
