After two years leading the ACT Consulting Practice for TechnologyOne I have decided to return to my passion of Data Analytics, Governance and Management. As a director of Thinkstream Analytics, I have the opportunity to work with exceptionally talented and experienced data specialists and will be pursuing opportunities managing such projects in the Federal Government. Together we focus on solutions for data management, governance and data sharing, three key areas that greatly impact data and analytic outcomes for both Government and Commercial organisations alike. Microsoft Experience - Summary of Major Microsoft Project Deliverables1. Steve Coleman - Project Manager and Technical Business Analyst specialising in major ERP and Microsoft deployments, led a team of experienced technologists, including:• Technical Developers specialising in Microsoft Integration, including BizTalk, Web Services, Sharepoint to CRM Specialist, external systems including Techone.• Technical Developers specialising in web development and java development with the Microsoft environments of SharePoint and CRM. This includes integration and development using SilverLight and MS Outlook.• CRM Technical Developers specialising in web development and java development with the Microsoft environments of SharePoint and CRM. This includes full exploitation of inherent workflow and email capability and includes integration with external document creation software e.g. Aspose2. The ProjectsSteve has held the role as a senior technical project delivery manager within the Department. During this period he has led the above team and was responsible for delivering the following projects:1. Application Rebate System 2. Grants Management System (GMS) – this system was developed on the newly created Microsoft CRM/SharePoint business platform. 3. CRM Payment Management Module – This system is key to a new initiative and Steve had a key technical delivery management role. Again this is a solution developed on the CRM Business Platform and uniquely, as a fully integrated financial module.The system was developed as a CRM module in which new transaction types can be configured with minimal modification to the existing deployment. This provides for future changes in legislation and requirements.

The programme was a mixture of complex long-term and short-term projects, both consulting and delivery in nature. These projects included:• large ERP upgrade project – this project delivered major architectural and functional improvements to a Government Department. Major business and technology changes were required. Steve worked closely with the client and the technical delivery teams.• major business transformation of a Department, using significant changes to a critical system to underpin the solution.• numerous managed services projects where systems support was provided on an ongoing basis. Included introduction and development of best practice support methodology.• delivering business cases and project definition studies and project initiation plans for key clients. While leading this team Steve continued to work closely with clients as a trusted advisor on specific engagements to deliver strategic outcomes.With at times, some 20 consultants working in this practice and with a large suite of business solutions to deploy, Steve has developed a team disciplined in programme and project management skills.
