I have worked over 18 years for the Richardson Independent School District. My main duties are running our payroll processes, month end processing, and running requested payroll reports for various departments and campuses.Our payrolls are ran using the Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS). I am fluent in OEBS payroll processing and Oracle Discoverer ad hoc reporting. We use Kronos Workforce Central 8.1 for our district's timekeeping system. We download information from Frontline Education for loading our teacher absences and substitute payment information.I run, generate and submit our district's Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) reports on a monthly basis. This includes working though all needed corrections once all of our files have been submitted. I take great care in ensuring that the correct funds and employee data/contributions are posted before all TRS deadlines. I am proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel 2016. I use Excel to edit many reports generated from Oracle Discoverer, OEBS and Kronos. This often includes using V-Lookups and Pivot Tables to combine multiple reports.In the past I have handled our district's process for reporting un-cashed checks (Payroll, AP, Tax, Workers Comp, Insurance Services) to the State of Texas Comptroller's Office. This includes sending out letters to payees to meet due diligence requirements. If no return contact was made, we send the eligible check information and funds the the state while ensuring it is completed before state deadlines.I also ensure that the district's Kronos time clocks (4500 and In-Touch) are operational and reach out to our technicians in situations where a time clock needs manual attention or replacement. I setup new district time clocks in our Kronos device management system. I also handle the testing of new clocks to insure they are operating properly before installation.I am very careful and diligent in all of my duties especially when it comes to our payroll processing and TRS reporting. I fully understand how absolutely critical accuracy is when it comes to our employee's paychecks and retirement reporting. I take great pride in ensuring everyone is paid and reported accurately.
