Steve is a Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor, Family Wealth Director, Certified Investment Management Analyst, Certified Financial Planner™, Alternative Investments Director, Investing With Impact Director, National Strategic Partner, and Senior Investment Management Consultant with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. Steve is a member of the Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, numerous federal trial court and appellate court bars and the Bar of The Supreme Court of the United States, although he does not provide legal advice. He has been honored with a lifetime achievement award for legal ethics and professionalism from the Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism. Steve graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Washington College of Law at American University and was the Managing Editor of the Law Review.Steve has taught and coached private wealth advisors and financial advisors. He has taught first year law school at the Washington College of Law. He has taught legal ethics and professionalism continuing legal education courses to judges and to lawyers around the country, and he has spoken as an expert on those subjects at state bar and bar association meetings around the country. He is currently the President of his Naval Academy Class and Class Foundation, Chair of the Naval Academy Council of All Class Presidents, on the Board of the Navy-Marine Corps Olympic Regional Training Center at Annapolis, a past Trustee of Landon School, and a past President of the Landon School Fathers Club.A graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Steve left active duty as a Marine Corps Major following twelve years of active duty service in the U.S. Marine Corps. First as a Marine Aviator and then as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate.
