Comunale Co., Inc., a nationwide industry-leading mechanical and fire protection contractor. He is president of Comunale Properties, a property development firm with offices in Akron, Ohio and Denver, Colorado, with a portfolio of industrial and commercial real estate.Steve serves on the board of AMG Industries, a metal fabricator and automotive OEM supplier in Mt Vernon, Ohio, and Lee Brass, a brass foundry in Anniston, Alabama. He also serves on the board of Summa Health. He is a past president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Cleveland, and sits on numerous committees, including the Negotiating Committee for the National Fire Sprinkler Association. Additionally, he is a past board member of the Akron Art Museum, Interval Brotherhood Home and Rockynol. He is also a member of Bluecoats, and the Summa Cancer Leadership Council.Steve has received numerous awards including being named "Entrepreneur of the Year" for Summit County by the Ohio State Senate and the "Stellar Performer" designation by Buckingham, Doolittle, and Burroughs, LLP.He is chairman of the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation, where his "can do" mentality and tireless dedication to helping improve the quality of life of families affected by cancer in memory of his son is a driving force behind the Foundation.Steve is a lifelong horse enthusiast. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University.
