($123 million)• Presented strategic planning initiatives to MTA Capital Construction President and executives • Managed construction of the Westbound Bypass Tunnel, a 630-foot steel-framed, concrete-enclosed, jacked-shield tunnel beneath active LIRR mainline tracks.• Built multidisciplinary team by understanding capability gaps and making key hires• Coordinated construction operations in the largest active railroad interlocking in North America.• Successfully represented MTA at Dispute Resolution Board hearings and update proceedings.

NYC DEPARTMENT OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTIONReconstruction of Bailey Ave Retaining Wall and Trunk Water MainReconstructed historic stone retaining wall structure between Bailey Avenue and Bailey Place in The Bronx. Installed soldier piles, timber lagging and grouted tendon tiebacks. Project work also included 48-inch trunk water main, full roadway reconstruction, resurfacing, curbs, sidewalks, street lighting, tree planting, and green street landscaping. ($5.4 million)

MTA LONG ISLAND RAILROADAtlantic Avenue Viaduct ReconstructionHistoric viaduct, built in 1901, carries 25,000 people per weekday. Reconstructed 8,100-foot elevated steel structure consisting of 199 spans, 26 feet wide, 35 feet long. Replaced full bridge deck including structural steel, track, ties, and third rail during full-weekend outages utilizing modular, precast units. ($188 million)• Completed Phase 1 ahead of schedule and within budget without disrupting service.• Reduced construction risks, shortened schedules, and provided a safer ride for passengers. • Captured CM services for $77 million Phase 2 by leading winning proposal and client presentation.• Won the 2011 ENR Award of Merit in Transportation for Phase 2.

NYC HEALTH AND HOSPITALS CORPORATIONOffice of Facilities Development, New YorkDeputy Director position outsourced to LiRo. Advised Assistant Vice President on progress, planning, budgeting, and scheduling HHC's five-year, $1.1 Billion Capital Plan. Also managed various construction projects including new $153 million Behavior Health Facility Building in Kings County Hospital, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Women's Option Centers, and a Robotic Simulation Learning Center.

NYC ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONYankee Stadium City Works, Bronx, NYSupervised multiple projects incorporated in NY Yankees' new stadium arrangement. Constructed waterfront park, 16 new tennis courts, renovated historic building and achieved LEED Gold certification, removed contaminated soil at Bronx Terminal Market, installed turf baseball fields, made streetscape improvements, installed new water mains and combined sewers, and restored waterfront bulkhead. ($144 million)

PARK TERRACE GARDENS CORP.Exterior Infrastructure Improvements, NYManaged construction for logistically complex replacement of 3,000+ windows in multiple residential building complex in Upper Manhattan. Ensured environmental compliance with asbestos and lead monitoring. Designed plan that allowed residents safe, continued occupancy throughout the process that included façade replacement, interior renovations, and landscaping. ($4.1 million)

NYC DEPARTMENT OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTIONReconstruction of FDNY Fire Houses and EMS StationSupervised simultaneous reconstruction projects at various occupied and unoccupied firehouses for FDNY and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Crisis Response units. Included Squad Company 252 in Brooklyn, Engine Company 218 in Brooklyn, Engine Company 156 in Staten Island, and EMS Station 23 at Jacobi Hospital in The Bronx. Demolished and replaced deteriorated concrete apparatus floors, structural steel, utilities and site work. Interacted on a daily basis with FDNY Captains & Firefighters, DDC engineers, and architects. ($9.1 Million)

NYC DEPARTMENT OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTIONOld Slip Roadway and Police Museum Park Reconstruction, NYC Financial District Reconstructed park, roadway and utilities surrounding historic Police Museum in downtown Manhattan. High visibility project included community relations with the Police Museum Goldman Sachs and other high-profile private property managers. ($3.5 million)

NYS DEPT OF TRANSPORTATIONReconstruction of FDR Drive & Outboard Detour RoadwayEmployed state-of-the-art Maintenance and Protection of Traffic System to temporarily detour FDR Drive traffic onto an outboard roadway installed on the East River. Supervised construction of a 3,000-foot fender system to protect the temporary roadway from errant vessels. Installed 10-foot diameter steel floating breasting beams, fifty-two 24-inch diameter grouted tension anchors drilled to depths of 190 feet, and thirteen floating steel dolphins held by 7-inch diameter anchor chains. ($141 million overall, $30 million fender system)• Won the 2008 ASCE Construction Achievement Project of the Year Award.
