Developed software to communicate with onboard avionics and various chemistry instruments, calculate winds in flight and upload data in real-time to SQL server allowing instantaneous client access. Also provide flight services for campaigns to measure leaks and calculate emissions from natural gas transmission lines and hydraulic fracturing sites.

Analyze aircraft measurements of methane collected during sampling flights over natural gas transmission lines to determine plume dispersion with the intent of locating gas leaks from fixed wing aircraft. Also, analyze ozone data from aircraft and balloon campaigns to better quantify local emission. Run WRF (Weather Research & Forecasting) simulations to better understand observations taken during aircraft campaigns. Extensive software development in Matlab & Python. Completed Postdoc 7/2012.
