To lead on strategy formation and the delivery of our transformation programme to see churches growing at the heart of every community.

Manages the overall progress of the Church of England Birmingham's change initiatives - Growing Younger and Shaping the Future. Is responsible for financial management and also measuring progress and impact whilst offering technical support to a wide variety of project leads and directors. Projects within the portfolio include Mission Apprentices, Children and Family Missioners, School and Youth projects, Mentoring, Fresh Expressions, Church Planting and many more.Leads on creating funding applications for new strategic initiatives and, to date, has secured over £6m of new funding for the organisation.

Manages the portfolio of projects, finances and staff who deliver all activity under the Charity side of our organisation. This includes the People, Places and Youth teams. Activities include:- Countryside management and land design work.- Wellbeing, healthy eating and affordable warmth programmes.- Financial confidence and food growing work.- Youth diversionary and educational programmes.These are delivered from 3 different office locations across the West Midlands by over 25 qualified and experienced staff.

Manages a wide range of projects and staff that look to make a positive impact on the environment and how we relate to it. This includes our forest school offer, city wide food growing projects, and creative play initiatives. Projects focused on water quality and responses to the EU water framework directive, an award winning country park and ranger as well as a variety of community led landscape improvement projects. The low carbon agenda also falls within this remit including our response to the green deal and projects that help social landlords and their tenants improve their energy efficiency
