CurrentRole has included providing expertise and leadership for delivering research to improve approaches for providing sustainable urban water services.Recent research achievements have included:• Developed improved approaches for planning of decentralised urban water systems based on integrated water cycle management principles• Managed a project that enhanced the understanding of the water-energy nexus in Australian cities• Led the assessment of greenhouse gas emissions in Australian water utilities and opportunities for emissions reductions• Delivered a range of projects that have improved the understanding of opportunities for mitigating the environmental impact of urban water systems • Explored approaches for improving access to safe water supply and sanitation in developing countries• Considered the implications of climate change for water supply and sanitation services in developing countries
