I am a third year student at Western Washington University currently a getting a BS in Accounting with an Economics concentration. After I finish my education I want to use my knowledge of the language of business and economics to work my way to up to becoming a CFO of a manufacturing firm. After my tenure at National Credit Services where I worked on account receivables and reviewed client tax documents, in addition to winning a personal dispute with the IRS, I realized I have a talent for and I enjoy troubleshooting tax projects. In my professional working experience, especially in the five years I spent in Emergency Medical Services, I have realized that I am great at directing small teams, executing plans under pressure, and coming up with creative solutions in a pinch. I believe that working in the accounting department of a manufacturing firm will grant me the agency to problem solve, critically think, and feel like I am contributing to major projects in a meaningful way. Plus I will get paid enough to play golf at really nice courses.
