Responsible for leading the Australian Fixed Income Team, based in Sydney, in managing a broad portfolio of Australian Fixed Income clients. The team is responsible for contributing to the global platform with explicit responsibility for alpha sources through a balanced risk approach to portfolio construction. Responsibility also includes oversight and implementation across a range of Australian Core, Inflation-Linked, and Passive/ALM Fixed Income portfolios.

Responsible for developing CFSGAM’s Asset Liability Management (ALM) capability, and is the lead Portfolio Manager for a number of institutional client mandates. He is also a key contributor to the rates, inflation and sector strategy teams, and is responsible for CFSGAM’s FX hedging process.

Responsible for management of the Investment Solutions team, which had a diverse range of investment and support roles within the overall front office environment. This included management of the quantitative based investment strategies (quant equities, quant fixed, structured credit portfolios and index products). The team also provided quantitative support to the more traditional front office investment teams (equities, fixed income and multi-sector), and was responsible for the front office infrastructure development program.The role included management of a team of 8 staff, including analysts/traders, quantitative analysts and developers.
