My name is Stephen Corr. I am an Avid Certified Video Editor and filmmaker who has graduated from LIU Post. I am a professional filmmaker who is experienced in every facet of production, specializing primarily in video editing. As an editor I use Avid Media Composer, and supplement that skill with color correction, audio editing, and titling. I am also a screenwriter, having written several feature and short scripts. I have worked on set on many crew jobs as well, ranging from gaffer, sound mixer, script supervisor, and director. My experience with directing has given me leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills that I continue to use to the best of my ability. I consider my determination and ability to cooperate without compromising my vision to be my greatest strengths as a director, and my experiences as an actor have taught me how best to interact with and bring the best out of the actors working for me. I am also deeply religious, and my faith in God drives me to push forward, even when it seems everything else is determined to stop me. My films often deal with themes of morality, faith, heritage, failure, the politics of power and leadership, and whether or not the ends justify the means. Despite my specializations, I am a jack-of-all-trades, and capable of adapting to my situation and responsibilities with ease. I do not stress easily, and perform at my absolute best in difficult situations. I also have a knowledge of many subjects, including literature, history, religion, Japanese culture, and Mixed Martial Arts.
