I provide operational oversight and day-to-day management at Lifelink Tissue Bank. I am responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established. I serve to enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and look for opportunities to expand systems. Additionally, I carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.

▪ Manage a three person team to recover human tissue for transplant▪ Arrange transportation of donor to and from the recovery facility▪ Review relevant medical records for abnormalities ▪ Perform a physical assessment of donor and report any unusual finding to the medical director or executive level staff▪ Speak with medical examiners to arrange autopsies▪ Recovery of human tissue (long bones, skin, heart for valves, various tendons and veins and eyes) following AORN standards

▪ Under guidance of management planned production determined by distribution demands▪ Supervised the daily production of several different complex product lines.▪ Ensured all FDA, AATB and OSHA standards were followed.▪ Worked closely with the Research and Development department to design/modify new and existing equipment. Also worked in the creation of new allografts.▪ Created standard operating procedures for complex technical procedures.▪ Trained staff in all aspects of processing human tissue for transplant. This includes regulations, cleaning and cutting of allografts, packaging of allografts, and proper documentation practices.

▪ Set up and break down of operating rooms used in tissue production.▪ Cleaning of ISO Class 5, 6, 7 and 8 clean rooms.▪ Cleaning of processing equipment.▪ Cleaning of human tissue (long bones, various tendons, skin). ▪ Cutting of human tissue into allografts using band saws, lathes, drill presses and CNC machines all while maintaining strict adherence to SOP’s.▪ Packaging of allografts. This involves culturing grafts to ensure the absence of harmful microbes and measuring graft to ensure they fall within allowable tolerances.
