Direct report to Global CFO and dotted line to Asia Pacific CEO.Responsibilities:- Ownership of the forecasting, budgeting and long range planning cycles.- Monthly reporting including P&L variance analysis, KPI’s and Professional Services performance (utilisation & project performance).- Leverage technology tools to improve reporting and forecasting accuracy, cadence, and visibility.- Act as a trusted advisor to add value to business decisions in APJ. - Assist in building out finance team in region.Achievements:- Evangelised and created Power BI dashboards that were integrated with Salesforce and other data sources. Provided timely, trusted & consistent information on easy-to-use dashboards for the Global organisation which improved visibility & timeliness as well as driving new reporting.- Mentored and drove improved processes within core Global finance – reduced accounts payable and expense reporting timelines within the financial close.- Became a trusted global expert for the finance function.

Broad remit across Finance & Operational matters within a large Utility & SME - key focus on forecasting, cashflow modelling, dashboard review and other financial / operational matters (workflow management, digital footprint, sourcing & review of various government grants, new construction build, testing processes).

Purpose of role was to control all reporting & planning activities across Asia Pacific, deliver on ad-hoc projects and perform as 2IC to CFO.Responsibilities;- Co-ordination and control of the Budgeting and Forecast cycles for the Asia Pacific region, covering Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India) and Pacific (Australia and New Zealand).- Consolidation and review of actual results versus forecasts & budgets on a monthly basis, including preparation of presentation to US parent. Covers both P&L and Balance sheet and includes financial results and non financial metrics.- Review and control maintenance updates to financial systems and historical financial records.- Business case review and analysis, including other ad-hoc financial modelling.- Risk & SOX submissions for US GAAP purposes.- Tracking of capital spend associated with next generation CRM & ERP systems.- Staff of 3, operating in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders in different functions across the region and parent organisations (UK and USA).

Purpose of a role was to cover all reporting, planning and financial close activities across the Australia & New Zealand region. Responsibilities;- Budgeting, forecasting and actual performance analysis across the Pacific business (Australia & New Zealand), involving close partnership with the business.- Financial close ownership, including review and analysis of key business metrics.- Essential reporting systems, primarily Hyperion Planning and Business Intelligence tools (OBIEE).- Staff of 8, with a direct report to the ANZ CFO.
