Solar Systems is a clean energy technology company that designs, manufactures and installs large scale concentrated photovoltaic solar power plants using dense array converter technology.; Defined strategy for and developed, executed, and managed comprehensive Supply Chain from startup to project delivery. Communicated with customers, management, internal departments, and vendors to co-ordinate overall supply effort in accordance with corporate goals. Planned and carried out local, regional, national and international sourcing research, analyses, negotiations and implementation. Played integral role in product development activities utilising simultaneous engineering to bring product to market with the right suppliers with the right price, quality and lead time. Manage local and international logistics for import and export. Also responsible for managing facilities, including IT to support manufacturing, R&D activities, engineering services & operations.Drove sourcing activities to reduce product cost down by 65% with a cost down path to reduce further.Upgraded facility to allow manufacturing to be capable of delivering to the business objectives.Successfully set up Supply Chain to deliver to the business volumes.Aided in the selection and implementation of the company ERP system resulting in successful utilization.

Managed the national contracts team located in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne. The national contracts team was responsible for $150+ million sales budget with core focus on tender preparation and proposal offering. The team was also responsible for on-going cost saving analysis, proposals and reporting.

Moved into the integrated supply team to startup a new area of the Hagemeyer Group. Managed the site to oversee the supply for Siemens ICN (Information, Communication, Networks) division to support them with their service to Telstra's SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) network.

SALES & OPERATIONS - Various locations in Victoria & Tasmania; Joined the L&H Group in 1994 as a warehouse person and quickly moved on to become the Sales Representative for Southern Tasmania, some internal audit issues required me to move internal to take over the purchasing, administration and finance functions. Was then relocated to Melbourne to participate in the inaugural trainee branch manager program with 7 other national candidates.Became the first trainee to be awarded a branch manager role within three months of a twelve month program.Never made a loss at a Stocktake which demonstrates very good warehouse management & inventory control.
