I worked for Mercer Human Resource Consulting as a Pension Accounts assistant in the Fund accounts department.My general responsibilities included:• Assist in the preparation of the Trustee Annual Reports.• Work towards strict audit deadlines on a weekly basis.• A large proportion of the accounts are prepared in Mercer India so I provide the India accounts team with all required information to prepare the accounts.• Request external information from clients, brokers etc. on a daily basis.• Work closely with the administration team where necessary.• Attend conference call meetings with the team in India twice a week to discuss the progression of files.• Work through bulk request of unanalysed amounts on a daily basis.• Update spreadsheets on a weekly basis.• Responsible for training new members of staff.

During this period I was working through a recruitment agency called HRM Recruit. The companies that I worked for through HRM recruit are:• eBay• Tallaght Hospital.• Mercer.While working in eBay and Tallaght Hospital I worked in administration and receptionist roles before being recruited by Mercer Human Resource Consulting through HRM Recruit. After a short period of time in Mercer, I was offered a full time contract.
