I am currently a front line Police Constable employed by West Midlands Police Force. As a Police Constable I have sworn duty to protect the public, and prevent harm. Within this role I deal with a multitude of situations which are deemed as high pressure or high risk.Within my time as Police Constable I have gained invaluable experiences which has improved me professionally and personally, having the ability to communicate to such a diverse range is a skill that can be utilised in everyday life and other working industries, being able to remain calm under severe pressure and trust my instinct is a skill that has been heightened since joining the force. Furthermore, I have gained more self confidence in public speaking, being able to connect with those hard to reach individuals being able to rationalise all decisions and doing this with the upmost professionalism.Prior to joining WMP, I spent 20 years at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC working in a variety of front facing roles, all of which was underpinned by my coach development.
