Mr. Stephen D’AlessandroStephen holds a B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University and has wide-ranging experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical laboratory and laser manufacturing industries understanding and interpreting OSHA and EPA regulations, protecting worker health and managing hazardous materials. He also has knowledge of the EH&S issues of the extruded plastic/closed cell foam industry. He is an experienced auditor with an extensive history auditing facilities and programs to safety and environmental standards. His career as a trainer includes conducting chemical safety, biosafety, HAZWOPER, emergency response, powered industrial truck, lockout/tagout, electrical safety and new employee training. He has used Industrial Hygiene to measure chemical contaminants in air and reduce employee exposures. He has applied his knowledge of ergonomics to identify risk factors and prevent injuries in office and industrial settings. His experience managing hazardous waste includes working at firms in all generator classes and dealing with complex waste streams. Throughout his career he has taken a customer service approach to safety. He has a proven history as a problem solver, never shying away from a challenge. He serves on the executive committee of his local chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals and interacts with other safety professionals on the regional and national level.
