I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer; with extensive hands-on experience in light and heavy manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing, shipyard equipment and utilities, and power generation. My background includes: project, process, manufacturing, maintenance and field service engineering as well as Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), leadership, management and supervision of union and non-union employees.The following aspects of my professional experience may be of interest to you:♦ At Colonna's Shipyard I worked on implementing CMMS, including labor utilization, spare parts inventory, and asset management (utilizing Fluke eMaint™ software).♦ In 2019 I created a managed spare parts inventory, utilizing the LN inventory system.♦ From 2013 to 2016, as a consultant, I provided consumption analysis, risk and condition assessment, customer support, technical instructions, verification of system data (P&ID, specifications, etc.) for compressed air, weld gases, fuel gases, oxygen and nitrogen at a large shipyard.♦ In 2012 I completed a two week TPM Instructor Course♦ In 2010 I completed five weeks (180 hours) of intensive LSS Black Belt training and passed the comprehensive written exam.♦ In fiscal years 05 thru 09, I was the project engineer on several major capital projects.
